It's been 4 years since this!? Anyways, new album is out. Anyone checked it yet?

New albums actually kind of a mixed bag? Some really catchy moments, but also some dead ass hooks. Marina sounds amazing in parts, but irritating in others. It has the soundscape of a Sega Megadrive chipset, which is both a blessing and a curse (some songs work well, others not so much) Kate Bush-isms in full swing. A song that's screaming out to be included in the next season of Emily in Paris. It's a wild listen. I'm bouncing between a 2.5 and a 3 for the new one.

It's so weird coming back to this after hearing Princess of Power. It actually feels like she's singing with a gun to her head. It just kinda comes off a bit, soulless? But at the same time it sounds tighter and more adventurous too. Venus Fly Trap and Purge The Poison still slap!
