Yeah fair enough, I didn't read the review prior to putting it on, but I'm 5 tracks deep and this is maaaaaad fucking boring. I'm sure a great lyrical album but I was definitely hoping for a little more musicality lol

jamming somewhat imminently, but not in a hurry to come to a verdict on this

Gyro you'd probably enjoy On Dark Horses better than this one if you are looking for smth closer to The Valley.

And check Marriages too!

Vibe with this review Dewi. Lost my dad a year.or two back and the emptiness I felt idk this album is just the feeling of being right back there

Not sure if it's what I wanted but it's certainly special

Giving this a first spin right now.

Powerful review Dewi, my own mom is currently days or (at most) weeks from passing on, so this very much struck a chord with me.

I found it boring after the first complete listen. The second attempt, I could not finish anymore. Yes, the lyrics are great somehow, but I guess you really have to feel what she is into, and I am not.

Eh, you say pared back, I say musically dull and unadventurous.

With albums like these all the songs just kind of run together after a while. I enjoyed a couple of songs, mostly citadel. But man, I played marked for death earlier and it's just way better. Gonna check out dark horses next, Dewi
