Glad you're enjoying Sowing! I sort of agree with you, I think it's mostly the lyrics that follow "childish" themes, and it's very much palatable for adults. That said, I'm very out of the loop on what's considered "children's music" these days, so I don't have much to compare it to.

I can definitely imagine borrowing this as a CD from the library, ripping the songs and putting them on my mp3 player alongside Smack That by Akon.

" That said, I'm very out of the loop on what's considered "children's music" these days"

My one year old keeps me updated on the latest these days, although she can't get over her fixation for Scorpions' "Still Loving You" live on Hellfest, The Buggles' "Video Killed the Radio Star" and Alan Parsons Project's "Eye in the Sky".

Aside that it's all japanese kid's songs and "Heads shoulders knees and toes" on REPEAT.

This made for wonderful face down in my computer work drinking coffee with the rain pouring outside music. Thanks for sharing. Couldn’t help but feel a bit ridiculous crunching numbers in a spreadsheet and hearing lyrics pop out like “let’s go to the zoo!”

This just gets better with every listen. I can already tell it's going to be amazing background music for snowy winters.

Woke up this morning with Superhero stuck in my head. It's a really subtly catchy song, Peris' voice really shines on it.
