Ew gross @rym. I just ordered a bunch of CDs off discogs from Canada including this and Park Attack so I’ll let you know what I think soon

I've wanted to grab this on CD for the longest time, but the shipping cost from Canada is way too much for me to justify. It's like 3x the price of the CD.
Maybe one day I'll find a copy on US soil.

I found a shipper with $5 shipping and could add more CDs for marginally more so it averaged out to being worth it. Must’ve been a recent addition or recent price drop since you last looked

"they are weighted but also not. rating different issues doesn't affect the charts, only the number displayed on the album/artist page"
Ah that explains it.
I don't think tomovon was 100% deweighted

@bgillesp The one left on discogs right now is $12 shipping for me. It was worse last time I checked though, you're right (it was something like $20).
I'll just hold out for some random USA guy to sell it on eBay. Or for non-offensive Canada/UK shipping.
@GhandhiLion Yeah, I don't think so either. Wouldn't know how to check, considering the album only has 3 (or 2) ratings.

would i like this

"Why even bother having it be weighted on the album page then?"
they're not fixing issues with parts of the site that will be completely replaced anyway. i think they've had to rewrite the way issues work from scratch to fix the problem of changing the primary issue for an album (not possible atm which is a pain in the ass)

@parksungjoon Only one way to find out.
It's on their wicked cool, straight-out-of-1999 webpage, if anyone's interested

@Havey Personally not looking forward to the ugly new site, but that's understandable.

Hope and pray there's a legacy option.
Nah, I'll just get over it.
Still think the star rating replacement (that blue knob thing) looks stupid and ugly though. That's never gonna change.

I meant the one I bought from that is no longer listed. I did look for this CD a couple weeks ago when I first checked this album and did not see that deal so I think the person I bought from listed it within the past couple weeks

@bgillesp I know, I'm just wondering why some CAN shipping is so damn expensive when others are reasonable.
Like why was the one you grabbed only $5 for shipping, but this dude's charging $12? Is the first guy hopping the border to get better rates? So many questions.
@parksungjoon I just paint over mine with some foundation whenever that happens.

Okay @Sammich, I’m gonna need you to say a bit about your thoughts on Park Attack. CD came in today, and I’m halfway through it (put it on in my car). I gotta say I can understand where the 5 came from, but I could also understand a 2.

I love my shitty myspace-era punk bands, what can I say?
I know the vocalist is annoying, but I'm pretty forgiving with that sort of thing. I really like the synth tone they're using, and the guitars are at the perfect frequency for my brain or something.
Favorite songs: The Racket, Beak As Tool, The forgetter, Boo Hoo
Like you said, anything lower than a 5.0 is understandable. It's got a low average on rym.

If you disliked it, please send your cd to me so that I may give it a loving and cared for place on my cd shelf. I expect an invoice as soon as possible.
