I forget if you've kept up with Tigers on Trains and The Republic of Wolves, Colton, but if not then get on it. Some of the most underrated indie rock and folk in the last ten years.

His lyrics are still top notch. This doesn't quite hold up to the Tigers on Trains stuff, but Radium is shaping up to be one of my favorite this year

I keep forgetting about this, but every time I come back to it I like it more and more. Radium in particular is a really great song

Radium is amazing but Hang Your Paintings on Me slowly emerged as my clear favorite. It's a simple tune but the emotion is so tense and real.

This is an oldie I'm just bringing it back. Probably one of my long-term faves so we'll see if it sticks ;-)

Hang Your Paintings on Me is definitely one of my new favorite songs from Mason in general and it's one of this year's best. The feels are real.

Check The Republic Of Wolves and Tigers on Trains - the main two projects by Mason and they're both incredible

Radium sounds like all of Phoebe Bridger's Punisher album rolled into a single song and I mean this in the best way because its a highlight for me.

I listened through this in full yesterday for the first time since it was released and it wasn't nearly as effecting as the other projects. I then went and listened through Varuna and Shrine in full and it reminded me how kickass that band is. I can't believe they have never toured ... would make for a pretty incredible opener to so many bands. Mewithoutyou comes to mind for some reason.
