I don't understand how people can say they like this but not love symphonic black metal. This is programmed to hell and sounds about as gay as LotR.

The only thing this and the kind of symphonic black metal you mean have in common are, well, the instruments.
Symphonic black metal, with the stigma surrounding it, is a bunch of gimmicks and purply fag keyboards and theatrics. Summoning, and a few other bands, make symphonic black metal with out it actually being symphonic black metal, I.E., it doesn't suck (although this is my least favorite of Summoning).
