hmm... I'm gonna give this album another listen. I had unreal levels of hype for it so I'm wondering if it actually lives up to it.

Gave it another listen and... yeah this is still a 5. There's just so many little details scattered throughout, and each song is just massive, even the 4 minute instrumental. While I love the erratic pacing of Pyrrhon's albums, this album definitely has the clearest structure to follow out of all of their work, it's downright cinematic

There’s not an overt shoegaze influence but the guitars glisten in a way that is reminiscent of shoegaze

Interesting, mb more bands should do that instead of blackgaze or whatever
