Good review! I agree that the first half of this is much, much better than the second half. Additionally, this album has wayyyy too many songs for its own good. Cut a few songs to make the tracklisting more dynamic in sound and maybe, just maybe push a song or two past four minutes and you've got a pretty enjoyable album here.

Ah, Atreyu. I'll never forget the vocalist accidentally poking himself in the eye during the 'Right Side Of The Bed' video.

This sounds like a hard rock album. It's not as bad as I thought it was gonna be, but not amazing either. There are some fun ideas here tho

The lyrics made me cringe really hard. Like at one point he actually said "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Why, just why. It's not inherently awful, just so cliché-ridden that I couldn't stomach it.

I have listened to every Atreyu album I think, save for maybe one of their really old ones. I just re-rated their discography. Lead Sails is my favorite of theirs lmfao.
