Actually, Jim Hodder is the one who sang on Midnite Cruiser. In any case, that song is fantastic for sure. I think that song and Parker's Band were the only vocal credits he ever got with Steely Dan

So I just looked it up and apparently Hodder did backing vox on Countdown to Ecstasy too. I kinda wish he came back to do vocals on future Dan albums too, he has a great voice



Good drumming too, of course, but Jeff Porcaro was untouchable in the 70s, so I don't blame Steely Dan for going with him going forward
