my least favorite track here is secretly, but that one is still a 3.5. After several listens, this album is way better constructed than Esentials, it flows better. Esentials kinda falls apart in the 2nd half, but this one is better distributed.

Maybe it's because the production choices resonate with me more. the plucky strings, the airy synths remind me a lot of whitearmour/Drain Gang style-production and some Dean Blunt as well, and she seems to have gone even harder on those stylistic choices here. "Insult me", "No butterflies", "Acceptance", "call me anytime" all have that icy feel to them that give them a lot of personality. Yea it's not as explosive or warm as her last record, but there's definitely a personality and a strong aesthetic choice at work here.
