Yea for sure. Wish they placed their chill tracks more meticulously. Dethmask was great but there was a ton of filler on it. I hope they employ them more effectively in the future.

To summarize how I feel about this LP: it's a grower. I feel like the surface-y interpretations of monotony dissipate after some commitment/investment in the record. After 3 listens I was absolutely hooked. Barber's vocals are fucking insane, but there is an overall synergy going on in this LP that is fucked. Maybe I'm overly committed, but if they were to take this and make it more accessibly diversified (i.e. less of the perceived monotony) then we'd likely see more positive reactions.

This album kind of reminds me a bit of All Hope is Gone, full of heavy bangers and there's one beautiful song that might just be better than all of the heavy bangers. It was Snuff for that album and it's Donna for this one.
