Thanks man! Yeah, they had some really weird shit pre-FMTS. I recently listened to Terra at work and I had to turn the music down when 1990 Quatrillions De Tonnes so people wouldn't think I was crazy, lol

that one's biggest problem is that it's too long... but ideas it's certainly not short on
i feel this one isn't much of a leapfrog, it feels like a natural progression towards a more atmospheric sound, which would be achieved on the next one when they get rid of some of these techier moments

Definetly. The songwriting improved a lot on this, but didn't reach the level of The way of all flesh yet. Good album though, it's like Gojira came into their own and they had to master their style on the next few album.
I feel like you can only do so much within this style. I wonder whether or not they'll be able to shake things up in a satisfying way.
