Great write-up as usual manosg. I should be getting into Blaze's solo stuff it looks that he has a good feel for that sci-fi prog approach.

Much appreciated, Vortex! Just bear in mind that this is more on the traditional metal side rather than sci-fi prog. Hope you enjoy!

This my favorite release of this guy since The Man Who Would Not Die and Promise and Terror era.
Huge Maiden feel on this one too. Will try to see him and this band on his promo tour this time. Saw them on Promise and Terror tour, it was incredible.

I really like Blaze's solo career, although that's mainly due to his first 3 records (when the band's name was just BLAZE). After that everything sounded pretty uninspired to me. This record is not different. It's not bad, but very generic.
BUT I have huge respect for the guy. He was completely massacred when in Iron Maiden, but he put his head down, got to work and released some kick-ass albums. On the other hand, Paul Di'Anno spent his life whining about being kicked out of Maiden while still trying to profit from them (most of his album titles make reference to Maiden and he even ripped off the Maiden font type).
