Maybe leans more towards dream pop but do Galaxie 500 fit this descriptor? I should’ve paid attention to the ordering of the tags - ‘indie rock > dream pop > shoegaze’ - yeah I messed up (not they’re always accurate).

primal is like if avalyn was dynamic at all, also does have out of time layers for sure but i get what u mean. if we are taking slowdive songs and debating if any of them are the greatest shoegaze song of all time, then primal is that by a whole lot for me. it is a messy angsty dynamic masterpiece and honestly is better than the rest of jfad combined
