I still haven't really spent much time with YLAOM or Bug
Where You Been is actually the album that got me into them. maybe I'm alone there, haha. was hooked as soon as the song Start Choppin' came up on shuffle

Where You Been was the album that kickstarted the interest as it was around that time the lanky one from Nirvana was wearing the Dino Jr T-Shirt which garnered interest among the mongs including me.
Farm is the bands best and that is that.

It's a bloody belter. Top 20 of the 21st century.
This is great as well. Band is untouched when it comes to this sort of shtick. Amazing stuff.

Bug and You're Living All Over Me are certainly their best (not counting their newest 3 which I haven't heard yet)
I recommend them to anyone who likes indie or noise pop

Eh it's a lot lighter than noise rock stuff like Big Black, Flipper and The Jesus Lizard... and usually the lighter stuff is called noise pop
I don't see the problem here
|
| |
When those bands first appeared on the scene if you called them ‘noise pop’ you’d have had your head kicked in

Somehow I really doubt chill indie bands like Dinosaur Jr., Yo La Tengo, and The Jesus and Mary Chain attracted super violent fans, but maybe that's just me
|
| |
well those other two have made noise pop so... :]
