Nah, he's pretty bad. Todd is also pretty bad. Only music youtuber I trust is Rick Beato.

I've gotta admit I'm a huge Toddintheshadows fan lol, imo the best music critic on YouTube since at least 2017 or so.

Fantano was alright back in the day but it seems like he's gotten increasingly egotistical and dismissive with his criticisms over the past few years

I don't really look at other music reviewers who aren't on sputnik. I only know Fantano and Todd and I've had a hate boner for Todd since 2014 and I ain't easin it anytime soon.

I was being mostly facetious as Beato is the only one I watch that isn't really a musician first (like Neely). Well, he is a musician but seems like he puts sound design first on his channel.

Beato is a pretty accomplished musician. He had a record deal and has tour stories from when he opened for Megadeth and him and Marty used to jam in their trailer. Production and teaching only became his thing once he got tired of trying to "make it".
