these guys rule, they are one of the tightest bands i've seen live, and they definately get props for their crossover apeal, they may not do anything for power metal snobs, but, they're a power metal band that hardcore and metalcore kids are buzzing about, in fact hardcore kids turned me onto this band. and i personally thought the drumming was excellant, he plays for parts, and this genre doesnt really call for over the top mastadon, or red chord drumming.

Fantastic energy and intensity. You can really hear the fire and fury and the raw delivery and recording makes it even more vicious.

I like this album a lot. A lot of great songs throughout. I agree with you on the guitar aspect, but I love the vocals they use. The dual vocals always get me. Especially love the hardcore vocals. Even the helium induced vocals intrigue me. They definitely add that "something else" and make this band stick out from other power metal bands.

Listening to this now they r from my hometown, so its interesting. The Vancouver metal scene is fairly underground, but quite interesting. album isnt too bad, but nothing particularly special.

at first i didn't really like this too much because of the over the top high pitched vocals. i would have liked it better if it was all harsh vocals. but coming back to it about a year later, i appreciate the sort of epic feel it gives the music. i think this is a pretty solid release, if not just damn fun to listen to.

I don't know, I think they're a hundreds times more entertaining than Maiden or Priest and that's just the way it is. I don't really take them seriously, but I don't have to to enjoy it. That and I listen to a lot of music with retardedly high pitched vocals so I'm pretty partial to the style.

I shouldn't like this album as much as I do. It's just fun. I kind of like the vocals, but I could never explain why. I know they're not very good, but sometimes you just can't explain.
