Thanks for the review! I really like this one, especially the smoothness of bass and drums in comparison to the assault on wind instruments. I'm no expert in this genre, but some of the grooves reminded me of The Necks and that is a very good thing. Last song bumped this to 4.0.

@asleep lol I would say disgruntled is a hundred percent how I've felt listening to most music this year. Which is a real bummer because when I saw this album tagged as avant-garde jazz I was really excited.

My only problem with Fire! albums is that I can't help to hear the possibilities if those tracks were done with Fire! Orchestra.

I feel ya Dewi. Part of me does enjoy a more pared-down approach occasionally but Fire! Orchestra is too damn good.
