Yeah, I didn’t like that feature too much. Seemed out of place. That said, I look forward to new Islander music in 2030. I’ve never seen a band implode their career like them.

It was so jarring and took me completely out of the song
Just a few lines out of a 6 minute song almost makes me not want to listen to the whole thing. Hopefully I can get used to it. I think he is still doing some backing vocals after the rapping part and I didn't mind any of that

Islander left their label in like 2016. Wrote a new album. Signed a deal with a record label and were then approached by a different label to release the album. In the meantime, they wrote more songs and just released a new full length a few days ago with barely any marketing, no pre-orders, etc. Very bizarre approach. Might write a review for it, but it's not anything too exciting unfortunately. Sounds very shallow with too many guests.
