Who keeps negging my stuff...?
Show yerself and tell me what's wrong. Maybe I could learn how to improve my writing.

I pos'd personally, but without answering for those absent neggers I wouldn't mind a little more detail here and there (although I see your style here is more of a "yay, look at this" rather than the full thousand word run down of "why I gave this album X out of 5).
As with high scoring (and low) there's some hyperbolic phrases that seep through:
The album's opener, "The Clearing", makes this all clear at very beginning (pun intended).
How does this become clear? Wordplay or no, this needs more. Adding to this is:
The album welcomes the listener with a "suspiciously" uplifting vibe through neo-medieval elements,
It's best to assume your reader has no prior knowledge of what you're talking about. Sometimes you have to spell it out for them. How is is suspicious? Or better yet, expand on the uplifting neo-med elements and their positive vibes.
Some of the guys here don't like conjunctions as starters so much, for eg:
And I mean it:
You could get away with "I mean it:", and still keep that conversational tone.
idyll
Do we mean this in the happy, fairy-time sense or should this be "idle"?
I'm going to leave it at that, hopefully some (even a little bit) of this helps.

All good. I'd take more away from the "feature" than the "vote count" if I were you. I don't remember reading too many of your write-ups - but with this little ditty in mind I'll do more than keep an eye out. Keep up the good work.

"It's best to assume your reader has no prior knowledge of what you're talking about"
Confirmed, the most important thing I learned at Uni.
This is a damn good album. I wish it was more focused tho, how am I ever going to get familiar with both this and the new Ad Nauseam? There be not enough hours in the day.

Fair, but I like adventures: "go and find out on your own!" :]
And the struggle is real - even though I really having longer releases... better get ready for the new Paysage too.
