You know you’re unfamiliar with a genre when all you hear is the same boring pounding for 20 minutes but everyone else digs it

haha nah, I think that's the normal and expected reaction and I don't think this is representative of whatever genre you think you're unfamiliar with

I guess Techno Animal is ZONAL now... their album with Moor Mother from a couple years back is really good
I might try to do a final review... that project has a ton of releases and I don't think any of them have a review on here - I'll have to double check
don't think Pale Sketcher has any reviews either (check that project's Seventh Heaven EP if you want some 'techno' that's a good deal nicer and more comforting than this)

damn listening to this on headphones opened it up even more for me... funny how it sounds better on my cheap Sony earbuds than on the relatively less cheap speakers I plug into my computer, but that's just how it be sometimes

man the last couple JK FLESH releases have been killer... "NO MAN NO CRY" off the latest has quickly become my fucking jam
shame that (as far as I know), aside from this lil split pupper here, that discog is still totally reviewless

I see talk that there is another split between these guys titled Shouting the Odds that is coming out sometime in the near future
also shoutout to the first Scorn album Vae Solis didn't realize until more recently that in addition to the Napalm Death debut, Justin also appears with Mick on that album (he has a guitar credit)
