What're you saying?! the NWA is a global brand and Billy is now more known than ever before.

It's not valid on this part of the globe, the sport is not even popular. Argentina is more pro boxing and mixed martial arts. No one in my country cares about the WWE and all that related stuff.

BUT, I wish ice hockey was more popular here.

You wish you had the influence that he left in the 90's though...

Were the Smashing Pumpkins really that influential though? They have a near perfect album run from Gish to Adore but they always stood out as a pretty singular band in the 90s alt rock scene with an eclectic range of influences.

I'm sure there are plenty of bands SP influenced like MCR (as well as a ton of really shitty post-grunge bands) but the real testament of SP's quality was their music, not their influence.

For the Average American, your argument seems to be pretty logical, but for a country with shitty music like mine, the band was a religious experience.

Gish rules, I'll talk about Gish

I hate Machina though sooooo,

but yeah bump a Gish, Pisces Iscariot, or Adore thread and I'll be there with nice things to say

I've hated everything they've done 2000-on so should I REALLY bother with this?
OR should I just throw on "Eye" so I can hear Corgan doing electronic music well again?

Eye it is!

Tuna is English though lol

Honestly Ars you're not missing much, I do like Oceania though. It's no masterpiece but it's better than it has much right to be.

I'm a huge fan of melancholy and some of their other old stuff but I've really disliked their last few albums. Not sure this would be my thing
