I really enjoy the contrast between the dark subject matter and the more upbeat and poppy tone of the music on the record. The vocals are also a lot more varied this time around, I had to check to make sure that it was actually Toby singing.

i feel like "contemplative" and "upbeat" are generally somewhat at odds with each other in music, at least from my perspective, which actually makes me kind of interested in just sampling this
