Very innovative, Bowie at his best. Very amazing songs that you can't get tired of listening. If you don't own it, go buy it.

This is Bowies best album, and it rules so much. Rock n roll suicide is beautiful, no other way about it. Bowie should've never killed off Ziggy Stardust.- which is also a great song.

Did Bowie really play the sax as suggested on the review?

^Aladdin Sane.

David Bowie is the man. And this album is where it's at, but as crazy as it sounds I find myself listening to his last two albums moreso. This Message Edited On 08.02.06

Hunky Dory is far superior to Aladdin Sane.

I might recommend Low, but if Heroes doesn't float your boat, Aladdin Sane is a better bet. It's hard to do wrong in Bowie's discrography though, so just dig in.

Well. Tonight isn't that good (not at all terrible either) but it has Loving the Alien. I haven't heard all the albums, but I don't think he ever made a really terrible album.

I purchased the David Bowie Best Of CD(s) and listened a bit, and didn't listen to it too much. But something possessed me to go to Best Buy one day and purchase a few different Bowie albums, and this was one of them. Now I can't stop listening to it; in my mind this is one of the most amazing and complete albums ever.

I love it.

I really want to review this; it's one of the greatest. Who doesn't love songs like 'Starman'?
