Well, if you read many a bandcamp blurb, which I tend to do since bandcamp is my city, they tend to be overly verbose and rely on striking adjectives to sell the album. It becomes a bit comedic at times how hyperbolic these paragraphs can get.



They actually do use experimental my friend. If you think the rest is all cynicism then we'll have to disagree there again

but then, your review reads exactly the same, making the analysis a bit hypocritical?

I'm not sure what you mean by that, unless the implication is that you found my writing boring much like how I found the album boring. I'll disagree for a third count on that, as I think I described the album and did so in an entertaining manner. I appreciate your input.

we'll agree to disagree. i didn't find your writing boring, i just think you approached the album from a cynical perspective and it comes across in your writing and the inclusion of things that i'd consider irrelevant to the music itself helps paint that picture and it didn't give me much to go on about the album. i certainly didn't feel that it reflected what i listened to all that well.

In which case we walked away from the album with different perspectives, and that's perfectly fine. Multiple opinions makes for healthy discussion after all. As to what I should or should not include, I stand by what I inserted and find it appropriate.
