Yeah, it makes sense now.
I'm still gonna use EDM as an all-encompassing term simply because I don't have all of those sub-genres memorized just from watching that video once. I do however know better than to refer to EDM as a genre now.

The only prob I have with that vid - aside from the fact that it mentions some truly awful sub genres that I try to pretend dont exist - is that it really glosses over techno, which is an oversight considering IDM directly evolved out of what was once referred to as Ambient Techno
