Nice to see a review for this. Saw them live last year with Portrayal of Guilt, and Maha was a total sweetheart. Gave me a vinyl copy of the Majority Rule/pg.99 split just because we shot the shit throughout the night. Hearing the debut record where she sounds more "yelpy" compared to how intense she sounds live and on this was wild.

That's a cool little story. I can imagine that show was a ripper, too.

I can get wanting some more polished leads. They go right into a style where that really doesn't crop up much; all about crushing intensity. Glad we can all agree on these vocals though

wow Maha's vocals are so much different (and 100000000x better) on this release than their previous stuff. she sounds awesome.

Vocals definitely help to prop this up. Instrumentation isn't nothing to pass up on, though. Standard to a degree, but some nice quirks here and there that definitely keep it compelling. Glad the bass is audible enough!

This needs more attention. Thought being a front-page feature might get more people to check it out but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be happening.

Well, that's just kinda how it is when something underground gets featured. Sometimes, you get lucky and get something trending. Other times, it just sorta fizzles out. I've had both happen and it's honestly a coinflip as to what's gonna win out and what's gonna be unfortunately more forgotten as the year goes on.

I'm here to bump this into oblivion though, so never fear!
