I've seen them live with The Vintage Caravan. The Vintage Caravan is one of the most energetic rock live bands out there and they completely floored everyone with their performance. And then Blues Pills with a mix half as loud and it was not bad at all, but underwhelming and focused to heavy on her and her voice as if she just had a background band. I'm also nut surprised the guitarist left.

That's one of the reasons they won't get big. Having a hot pussy with a huge voice is good and all, but by its self it isn't a game changer.

@manosg
I saw them in January, 2015. They were "ok", but not anything really special. And when you're a new band you certainly want to be REALLY good in order to keep the audience investing. Especially in live performances.

I have been listening to 'Lady in Gold' for the last couple of days in order to refresh my memory and draw accurate comparisons. I do not expect them to hit similar levels to the ones of their debut though. That was a one-off rough diamond! I wish i am wrong with Holy Moly tho.
Been lucky enough to see them live some years ago when the opened for Rival Sons during their UK tour. They were awesome live. Elin rocked hard!

Not bad, not good, but worst of all, not particularly memorable. The vocals are decent but the music is mostly generic rock

Yeah, this is kind of a bummer
Low Road and Rhythm in Blood were damn decent, tho. Everything else was pre forgettable, especially the last batch of slow songs
