This is much more enjoyable than Ulcerate for me.

Their newer stuff never stacked up to EIF.

I love literally everything theyve ever done from EIF and on. Some more than other but none even begin to bore me.
Same with IT to be honest....

I have a hard time deciding between this and Oranssi Pazuzu for best dystopian shit of the year.
|
| |
I still need to listen to this in full
I really like it but find the vox kinda boring

New Oranssi is awesome...but its more focused in an entrancing experience. I dig it a lot as well.
...Paysage d'Hiver...another 4.5...

Still struggling to get around it's weirdness... at some parts this has a certain Liturgy edge, which of course is very unfavorable for it#s own good. At times this is completely awesome. I love City Swine!

Easily AOTY, then again I’ve heard about 20 releases. Seems fitting for 2020.

Piqued my curiosity, but then saw the genre tags

Don’t worry, this ain’t no Pyrrhon (idk what you’re expecting by the tags). It does land somewhere in the disso-death realm, but covers a lot of ground with surprising aplomb. I definitely recommend at least one spin for curiosities’ sake if nothing else.

I was hoping I'd get a Forever Young cover with that album title
