^ also i felt that way about 1/2 of ark - only a couple songs on there were good for that beefcore sound, otherwise it was really generic without lead melodies or interesting song structures a la divination

Yea I jammed Divination back to back with this and it's absolutely insane how much worse this is. I'm a fan of Ark but even that's a lot weaker than their early work

the breakdowns here are pretty mega but goddamn, this album is just a mishmash of ideas, I havent checked them out since their split with Northlane and I absolutely love Equinox
