There are no problems with Inside Out, it's a great record. When you say expand your mind, Spacebro some of us have been listening to that record for the better part of 25 years. I know I can say that I've listened to it hundreds of times, easily.
I'm not sure if you're of the newer folk to this band, and if so, you need to FULLY digest Parallels because it's one of the very best progressive metal albums ever written, and that's a fact. Every note is literally perfect, and the flow of the record is second to none.
Inside Out is great no doubt about it. But it's hard to compare anything to one of the kings. But there's good reason why the band has performed Parallels in its entirety as well.
