@GoodNeighbour, it's a great metalcore album, just kind of a mediocre MS album...

As I explained a little in my review, it felt really disjointed. As if a bunch of random riffs were created separately and stitched together right before recording. Not to say it didnt have some memorable moments, but it lacked the cohesiveness we'd seen on previous albums.

Really good for a first review man. You did the album justice.

I thought this was great and had a handful of superb songs, but it almost feels incomplete. Some Dreams should have been the penultimate track leading into an epic closer. But the album just ends. Still, I was satisfied with what we were given. Its cool just having new Mis Sigs to jam in 2020

Cascade Locks is my early favorite. That one absolutely floored me on my first listen

If Jesse wasn't such a chore to listen to I might be able to find more redeeming qualities in the instrumental aspect but good god I was sick of his voice by the end of the 2nd track. I won't be revisiting this.

Sad.

Jesse drags a bit yeah, but I thought he fulfilled his role quite well and brought some of that Karl punchiness on here.

Sunlifter, Old Ghosts, and Cascade Locks are incredible. Tempest and River King are good, not good enough to save the album, but still good tracks. Everything else...hate to say it but forgettable.

I'm listening to Absent Light right now and am kinda shocked that so many people are saying that this is a huge improvement over that album. It stomps this in every department lol.
