Deffintely moreso because they plagiarized black artists and pretended it was their own work (though they also plagiarized white and latino artists as well...Led Zeppelin loved Plagiarism haha)

I say this as someone who is underwhelmed by The Rolling Stones and a big fan of Led Zeppelin: The Rolling Stones always credited their covers, and talked about their influences openly and with love

I don't get how a white band with black influences is racist, isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery? Would that make all white rock artists to racist to you? If white people were only allowed to make white influenced music, they'd be reduced to classical and electronic

Was Glenn Miller's "In the Mood" racist because jazz was originally made by black musicians? Like I sincerely don't get your logic here.

Essentially the same principle that characters of color should be played by people of color should apply to music as well. There's really no reason it shouldn't.

So you're saying you think The Rolling Stones are pretending to be black on this album?

I'm saying they're appropriating black culture and exploiting it for monetary gain.

Underflow is a known 10 year old account with 24 well rated reviews, why would he choose to troll now?

Dude has an anime profile pic and is saying The Stones committed crimes against music and should pay reparations to black artists. Idk what his motivations are but that's some of the most obvious bait I've seen in a while.

I love getting called a troll because I have an opinion that someone disagrees with. Very mature.

Honestly the fact you couldn't write more than 1 paragraph on the subject (y'know instead of the standard 4-5) and the review itself doesn't talk about the album itself, makes it look like a troll effort

I think you should work on implementing some subtlety. A good troll has people thinking "wait, is he serious?" When it's clear that it's trolling from the beginning it isn't as engaging. Also the "omg cancel culture omg SJWs omg racism!" type of trolling is reaaally played out. It's been done a million times.

Also what does having an anime profile picture have to do with anything?

Be a little more creative and don't be as on the nose with it, and you can put forth a better troll effort than this. I believe in you

Fwiw I don't think you're trolling I just think your anger is woefully misdirected and it smacks of white boy virtue signaling (apologies if you're not white). I'm for reparations, including from the stones on the grounds that they're quarter billionaires, but there's a reason why CANCEL CLASSIC ROCK BANDS isn't a very salient message from work being done by leftist groups. Get mad at the corporations that cheated black artists, not Keith and Mick

No need to apologize, I am in fact white. I absolutely agree that the music industry and corporations need to be held accountable as well, but I don't think problematic artists should be let off the hook.

You also seem to have a disdain for cancel culture but are simultaneously like "well might as well weaponize it against this oddly specific grievance I have!"
