bought this yesterday on a random trip to london, along with the "dance parties..." ep, and i'm really liking this band a lot. i heard they've done a song with circle takes the square... is this true? because if it is, i'm gonna be all over that like lice on a hobo...
also, if you like this band, it's definitely worth checking out a band called Princess (well, less of a band, more a one-man project). the album "superstructure of an era" has a similar sorta sound to this album.

CTTS contributed vocals to "The Conspiracy of Seeds" off of the album The Destruction of Small Ideas. It's a pretty cool song.

thanks for the heads up! just bought TDoSI today, and although i'm not liking it quite as much as this one, it's still pretty awesome, especially the CTTS cameo there!

This is the best 65DoS album (though I'm biased as it was the first that I heard), but it's pretty damn awesome in everyway.
Can't think of a track that isn't enjoyable and innovative at the same time.

Retreat! Retreat! is just one of those songs that makes you want to shout "F**K YEAH!"

The story in the first paragraph about how they formed isn't actually true.

The best part of the song "Hole" was the guitar slides.

Favourite post-rock album ever - will always come back to it. First three albums are all superb though & even WWEA is very good, just different.
Can't believe I still don't own Wild Light...
