Cover art for this sucks yeah.

Looking at the font/color choice for the text there is especially jarring next to the detailed art (which I personally don't find to be that bad). The outer glow sure was... a choice.

I don't see anything wrong with the album art.

Album is decent but hasn't really grabbed me much after one listen.

As a big fan of the debut, this hasn't quite grabbed me all that much, seems just more of the same, but the debut songs where stronger imo

I enjoyed this, but not as much as effloresce. Some of this seemed samey to stuff they've done in the past, and I don't mean stylistically. Sounded like some of the same riffs just slightly altered. Didn't have as much of a new and fresh impact on me as that one did.

This is great though, I was just hoping to be blown away.

Wildinferno, dedex, and tundra pretty much summed my thoughts.

Eh I didn't appreciate the singing. I think mainly cause it detracts from the music even if she has a good voice. That and the lyrics are real bad lol

Well without the singing this band just sounds like watered down Chon imo

Vibes are diff to me so I don't get the same feeling from both bands at all

Chon is typically fun and interesting, this is more soothing and chill. Except new Chon which is more in this vein

True they do scratch different itches, just for me personally I'd rather throw on Chon than this

Yeah I get that. I didn't feel that way about effloresce but for this definitely. I don't know how much I'm going to want to come back to this over time

New Chon is pretty much what I was thinking of. Grow-era Chon was definitely more chipper than anything I've heard by covet

I liked effloresce better than this admittedly. This album is more solid than anything.
