One of these days you have to present your thesis in the staff blog ;)

Thanks a lot wildinferno2010.

If you want to explore a slightly more raw epic doom vibe, check their debut. If you prefer a more melodic and comprehensive approach, give the sophomore a spin.

I need to overcome these tremolo vocals in order to enjoy these neat guitars X)

the vocals are a (-) if you're used to hearing a more harsher style

It's cool to hear that Instrumentation-wise they still have it. Guitars have always been more important to me than the vocals.

Both guitars and vocals are well above average. If we compare Anders Engberg's vocals with those of Johan Längquist in 'Deliverance', we can clearly see who is the best singer at the moment.

Mr. Anders Engberg. He's the best singer of his kind these days, in my opinion.

Cool.

In all fairness though, Längquist isn't much of a competition these days...

You got a point there. I only mentioned Johan Längquist because he's a reference within the genre and makes guest vocals on the album.

I know man. I understood what you were trying to say there. It's true. No matter what shape he's in, Johan will always be a point of reference in the scene.

We can say there's an aesthetic connection between both bands, despite not being very close.

I enjoyed this more than their first album tbh. The cleaner sound works for them and the solos are better here

Nice Rainbow cover:

Now we know how a Ritchie Blackmore / Tony Martin collaboration would sound.
