I'm always surprised at the harmonies these guys come up with, so whimsical

Planning to go on a Stereolab buying spree soon. My shelves need this, and so do my ears.

We got to keep the lift, hope, and struggle
Where is the lift, the hope, and the struggle?
Give me the strength, the lift, hope, and struggle

Yes yes yes nice one! Only got 2 left to go - Margerine Eclipse hit me in the feels hard enough that I might rev next week
best songs on this all come in pairs imo - Infinity Girl/Spiracles, Puncture.../Velvet Water, Caleidoscopic Gaze/Strobo Acceleration

Oh for sure yes! Most of these tracks become even better next to each other I think. Their albums work really well, structurally speaking. I think Blue Milk might be my fave here. But it's hard to pick, because the tracks you mentioned are so good of course.
Margerine Eclipse is gorgeous yes. They haven't released a single bad album in my opinion.
I'd bump your review like crazy, you know this. It would be a new place to live for me. You should take this into consideration before writing.

Mmm I feel this, but have been tempted to make a 20-30 track highlight mix and see how that fares on shuffle; the albums definitely work superwell all the way through, but I think this might sometimes surpress the standalone awesomeness of some tracks (esp on ETC, Mars and Dots and Loops maybe)
Lol I'll bear this in mind and aim to proceed accordingly

Very true yes. Many of these are spectacular on their own too. You can see them more for what they are that way. But in an album context they flow so very well, they are able to reach that superb sense of progression, amazing too.
Either way, be it on their own or with their album neighbours, they rule. That's for certain.
I've madly fallen in love so quickly and so totally with the Groop, interesting to see if this obsession can grow into something sustainable.

Genius is absolutely right man. I'm still in awe of what's happening here, finding new details left right and centre every time I jam any given record, they're crazy good.

Yeah, there's so many details to pick away at and each album is put together in a slightly different way...
Out of curiosity, how'd you two rank them in full?
