Honestly, I see A7X's earliest works as clumsily attempting to be heavy. There were moments of decent guitar work and drumming, but for the most part, they were attempting to achieve "brutalness" with all the finesse of an over-medicated chimpanzee beating on a rock with the jawbone of an ass.

^^^ lol that's great and pretty much how i feel. Only album that listenable to me is "waking the fallen" and over time i am liking it less and less.
