man that miike snow record takes me back. one of those records where it just teleports me to a certain time and place (summer 2009, extremely college). don't have as many of those anymore. that album still whips

this rec reminded me of that first dan mangan album and i totally forgot about oh fortune which yes does slay

yeah. a lot of the ballsier production choices there are still really cool for not having been very "of the time" then either, you know? i can definitely still get down with that record

and when was the last time you send somebody a CD in the post? 2009 indeed

yeah tbh that first record still sounds very fresh.
