“ The first song is twice as good as any other song here.
Some albums might get away with that - this one doesn't”
But this isn’t even true lmao
There are like 6 songs here on the same level

Thank you, doof, for telling me to listen to this. Album is fucking ass.

one of the bands that annoys me the most and perhaps the most overrated one
that being said I´ll check this as I find Bad Decisions innofensive and very enjoyable

Just glad the rating agrees that this is definitely their best since Room on Fire

Haven't really vibed with anything they've done since Room on Fire, but this is fantastic. Ode to the Mets is incredible

Basquiat has had exhibitions in the Whitney and MOCA... but sure, go off about the CD bargain bin

Taken aback by how much I'm enjoying this one. Wrote a scathing review of their tired, boring, insipid Future Present Past EP from a few years ago. But this one ticks a lot of boxes. Could be their best release...

I think the only track keeping me from a 5 is Eternal Summer. I love the chorus for it but the rest of the song sounds a little generic for me

I really like the song Eternal Summer. Sounds so much like the Clash at one point in the song, the ''They got the remedy'' part, that riff and how he sings it sounds so much like the Clash. Maybe I'm out of my mind though.

‘proving Doof has no taste’
This is the Strokes, a modicum less mainstream than the fukkin Killers - there are no taste points to be earned one way or the other with this lot
The most neutral new music in 2020
