there's something special about that cute beat in Teenage Birdsong.. that's one of the first things I think about with this album

Seeing Four Tet at Alexandra Palace last year was close to a religous experience. Those fucking lights man. What a special and unique experience that was. Every time I put Teenage Birdsong on it transports me back.

Green would be the only other competition for best of the ambient tracks but that kind of obligatorily means that band practice is up there too because it strikes me as a critical component to green the way it flows into it so nicely

good album but i found it a bit samey and not really evolved from his previous work. its also a bit technical and doesnt really show its beating heart until the last few tracks (specifically '4t recordings' and 'mama teaches sanskrit'). overall i think im only going to hold onto my few favourites from this one
