great review, i feel pretty much the same way about this, although i'm not really into the opening track and it really bothers me how she rhymes "seven years" with "hapPENIS"

don't know any of the alex turner backstory but i found this to be a solid indie singer-songwriter record. nothing amazingly special and a bit one-note but the melodies and her vocals are great.
