This album is just the absolute perfect blend of everything I love about emo. It has the pitchy kind of vocals of Matt Thiessen (yet not taken too far such as on the Glass Beach record), the twinkly, melancholy guitars of 90s emo, power chords, irresistibly catchy melodies, and that live, sunset by the beach mood. There is just not a single thing I don't love about it.
