I can't compare Mezzazine to Endtroducing. They're two very different sounds in trip-hop. Both albums are great, so leave it at that instead of trying to compare it to one and other. It will just make us hate either, and we don't want that. :D

Great review, and definitely one of the greatest trip-hop albums of all time.

Might I add, this album is one of the precious few 5's Ive given on here. It is of absolute quality and stands amongst some of the greatest albums of all time with ease. Theres always something new to hear, something to find in it. Also havent anything as dense either. Well, maybe Bitches Brew but thats not a comparison.

Do you think its plausible to name the greatest albums of all time unless you've heard every album ever released in history?

Do you think its polite of you to ask a question thats impossible to answer? Nobody has heard every album in history, so why ask? From all of the albums Ive heard, you bet your tits this album is up there.

Its not impossible to answer, its a simple yes or no question. Do you think you can judge the greatest albums of all time unless ya heard them all? I say no. I was simply addressing the lack of value in most people's vocabularies these days.

And I answered yes under the fact that Ive not heard all of the greatest albums in the history of music. And dont belittle me, you have no right. What pillar do you stand on to see above me in terms of value? You dont know me and I dont know you, so lets leave it at that. I stated a positive opinion upon a great record and you come on here just to start a fight? And you cant say you didnt try to start a fight, because your first post was quite arrogant. Unbelievable. Notice: Asking questions is now considered arrogance.

I wasn't belittling you, I wasn't ranking your person in terms of value, I specifically said vocabulary. Read. And relax. Was I starting a fight? I thought I was asking a question that could start some discussion besides cock stroking.

George marsh is the drummer sampled in Building Steam with a Grain of Salt - not DJ Shadow.

Midnight in a perfect world might be the most apt song title I've ever heard.
