It's derivative of their own work, rendering it somewhat generic, I guess. Gyro's 5s are such a bizarre mixed bag that picking on a Bon Iver 4.0 was a questionable decision to say the least. Especially vs Appetite for Destruction, I give Gyro the round tbh.
(Hint: should've gone for Rihanna).

there are samples and instruments. there's melody and harmony and shit. for every cool like 1 or 2 minutes of music on a track here, it's surrounded by 8 minutes of boring ass music. like look at invincible towards the end... yeah that's super engaging. same drum pattern and mediocre riff for like 2 minutes before something actually happens, and that something isn't exactly noteworthy. the rest of the song features this same repetition and it's mind-numbing. the weird synths they use are off-putting as hell too. i could cite several more examples in other songs. this thing is just a chore to listen to front-to-back
