the production is pretty great, actually. Glock 19 slaps. This isn't a bad EP.

Lmao...expected better from sput. Really solid album, easy 3.5 from me it's definitely raw and the production suffers a bit from it but when it shines (Glock 19 esp) Ameer does as well. Lyrically it's pretty depressing... obviously most ppl expected some dramatic callout and/or apology regarding the BH shit but he kinda just sticks to his guns on this one. BH fans will be upset but he doesn't owe them an apology specifically. He runs into the same issues I had with him on SAT3 (try to count how many recycled lines you can find...) which is definitely disappointing but with the shit he's going through it's gonna take more than just an EP and a year to fully reflect on / comprehend. Music is good, esp if you like dark trap...love the emotional voice cracks too his style / flow is definitely improving. We'll be hearing more from him no doubt...

also this is a poorly written review...not because of the score but with many analytical issues blush and others have pointed out.
It's ok to not support this guy but when reviewing it's super helpful to try to separate the release from the drama regarding an artist. It's clearly not a tirade against BH with maybe 3-4 lines being some bitter exceptions. In fact, a lot of his lyrics are drenched in regret and depression regarding his own mistakes...not a full apology sure but the feeling of remorse is obviously present.

Person that doesn’t even listen to rap gives rap album a 1.0? Sounds about right. Dude, you’ve rated barely any hip hop albums and if you have you’ve given them 2.0s or lower, while giving generic rock and metal bands high scores Totally just a biased review and you come across like you’re probably no older than 18. and no, I don’t love this EP, but it’s pretty good/ok at least.

Agreed. Sucks the only person he still talks to from BH is Kevin, cus this ep could've used a touch of Romil & Kiko production.
