Manages to make the cleans work without sounding too cheesy.

I also hear a slight Nevermore influence every so often, sounds like whoever plays the solos is a Loomis fan.

The fact thag this isn't drenched in shitty fake synth is a big plus.

That riff on Christ is Dead is like something Opeth would have done years ago.

The notable difference between the debut and this album, are the vocals.

There’s no vibrato here, and I wonder if the raspier vox herein, are sung as such on purpose.

That said, I like the debut a tad better.
