Didn't find it too bad, though most of this record was forgettable. The latter half was more tolerable than the former at least. Felt like it was heavily front loaded with mediocrity, lol.

Also, the album art is certainly an odd one. Looks like they're posing as trophies in Super Smash Bros.

Not sure about this one yet

cover art is the worst part about this
there are a couple duller numbers and overall this just ain't as strong as Retrograde, let alone The Resistance. you'll probably all collectively murder me for this one, but I still (albeit slightly) prefer this to The Fallout even with my criticisms of this release

They threw their best and only talented member of the band out because he was suffering from addiction issues and asked for help but never received it. If that wasn't bad enough they released a public statement proclaiming he's "never made anything artistically or musically since we've known him" lmao.. and ironically they state they don't write their own music a paragraph later.

I hate that I like the band since not writing their own music usually triggers an instant „nope, next plz“ from me but since Barone is basically an inofficial member of the band and I really like the hooks I can kinda deal with it, even though their statement about Escamilla made them absolutely dislikable as people.
Album isn‘t as good as Retrograde, which had a more cohesive style and theme to it that gave the sounds and production a reason. Cover and lyrics more often than not are cringe and you can‘t ignore how overproduced everything sounds but overall most of the hooks are great and some of the riffs as well. I like it, even if I don’t like liking it.

Have a POS. This band was also one the first "heavy" bands I got into as a teenager but honestly, everything after "The Resistance" just screamed out for mainstream attention.

this band has sucked for years, this is a whole other level of shite though

I really enjoyed this album, I'll have to write a review, it does seem like I might be the only one though

I also love the cover art, I find it aesthetically pleasing, which is very autistic of me

not gonna lie, I kinda like this... nothing amazing, cringy at times, but I do enjoy it

How they treated him was shameless and disgusting. Dave was apologetic and owned his mistakes for the problems he caused with his addiction and lifestyle choices and when he asked for some forgiveness and understanding of the matter they treated him less than human.
Besides all of that, this album simply just sucks ass anyways. It's not like it's surprisingly good or something. It's embarrassingly generic.

"It looks like it came from a photo-shoot for a K-Pop boy band."
Legit thought that was what this band was. And based on the revelations in the review, that's pretty close to what it was.

Honestly I like this album .
The fallout was amazing . The resistance and Retrograde wren't that good IMO . I even prefer the new sound , I never was a fan of the screaming which took a very dominant place in the previous 2 albums .
The cover is bad by the way .
One more thing : "Once the most promising group in heavy music" . No dude . I can mention at least 10 bands that can get this title , but not CTE

Let's be real The Fallout is easily this band's worst (and cringiest) record besides the debut EP. This is probably 2nd worst tho after a couple listens.
