I've seen this album turn a lot of my Smith hating friends into fans. By me dumping it on them, of course. Still a magical thing.
Rubber Ring is beyond awesome. They fucking nailed it. It's only 2nd to A Rush and a Push for me (I know it's not the same album)

No one's commented on this in awhile, but I feel like the reviewer doesn't quite get that Asleep is a song about suicide, which is one reason I love it. But also because it's quite fantastic otherwise, imo. I like Unloveable too, maybe I just like depressive shit.
But, regardless, good review.
