wolves within and in dreams were both marred by shitty production imo. if they had kept the cleaner production of the rareform reissue i think they would've been top notch albums.
anyways, this album is cool gym music but nothing more, in the same vein as the most recent architects albums.

Pretty much agree with all of that summary

Album Rating: 3.0
Yeah, maybe 2.0 is quite harsh considering what gets thrown on this website (I mean, most Architects reviews are rated 4.0 and they have been doing the same old shit for five releases now).
But this is pretty forgettable, aside from a couple of tunes. I jammes 'In Dreams' yesterday and there's no comparison in terms of memorability.

I certainly didn't give Architects a 4 on their last released....

@steak
Disconnect makes me feel like I'm 16 again whenever I hear it. Too much nostalgic feels boi.
That aside, this albums ok but definitely very frustrating. Feels like a constant mash of greatness and mediocrity.

Yea I’m like halfway through this and it’s just alright, nothing special. Vocals are great tho, and the production is at least better

This is pretty legit, almost 4'd. Have "Respire" on repeat right now m/

Having now finished their discography I can now safely say that wow is Rareform such a massive unicorn album for them.
|
| |
yeah rareform rules. for me it's:
rareform>>>wolves within>the rest.
though i haven't listened to the rest in a while front to back, just certain songs, but i remember them being far less memorable. probably dig deep>in dreams>evergreen, or swap dig deep and in dreams, but i need to listen again
